REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

OVERVIEW
At Kvaab Welfare Foundation, we value the trust and generosity of our donors and supporters. We strive to ensure that every transaction on our website (www.kvaabwelfare.org) is transparent and secure. However, we understand that errors can happen. This policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds or cancellations may be processed for donations and product purchases.
DONATION REFUND POLICY
We take the utmost care to process donations as per the instructions given by our donors, online and offline. However, in case of an unlikely event of an erroneous donation or if the donor would like to cancel his/her donation, the following rules apply:
1. Erroneous Deductions / Technical Errors
If a transaction has been processed twice due to a technical glitch, or if an amount was debited in error, Kvaab Welfare Foundation will refund the excess amount.

You must inform us within 7 days of the transaction.

Proof of the double deduction (bank statement or transaction ID) must be provided.
2. Mistaken Donations
If a donor makes a donation by mistake and requests a refund:

The request must be made in writing via email to info@kvaabwelfare.org within 5 days of the donation.

Refunds for mistaken donations are granted at the discretion of the management. We will examine each request on a case-by-case basis.
3. Tax Exemption Certificate (80G)
Please note that if a tax exemption certificate (80G receipt) has already been issued for a specific donation, we may be unable to process a refund due to government accounting regulations.
MERCHANDISE RETURN & REFUND POLICY
If you have purchased products (e.g., handicrafts, apparel, or other merchandise) from our online store to support our cause, the following terms apply:
1. Returns
Our policy lasts 15 days from the date of delivery. If 15 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

It must also be in the original packaging.
2. Damaged or Defective Items
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@kvaabwelfare.org with photos of the damaged product.
3. Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of goods are exempt from being returned, such as perishable goods (food, flowers) or customized/personalized items.
CANCELLATION OF RECURRING DONATIONS
If you have subscribed to a monthly recurring donation program:

You may cancel your recurring donation subscription at any time.

To cancel, please email us at info@kvaabwelfare.org with the subject line "Cancel Recurring Donation" at least 5 working days before your next scheduled deduction date.

Once canceled, no further deductions will be made, but previous donations cannot be refunded.
REFUND PROCESSING TIMELINE
Once your refund request is received and inspected (in case of merchandise) or approved (in case of donations):

We will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed.

A credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

The amount usually reflects in your bank account within 7 to 10 working days, depending on your bank's processing speed.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven’t received a refund yet after the standard processing time:

First, check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
